A Feast for the Eyes

The courtyard in the evening, the bar set up for a busy Friday, a plate of Flame Kissed Lamb Chops straight out of the tandoor, some things are easier to show than to describe. Browse through the gallery to get a feel for the food, the space and the atmosphere at Rao's on Dalston Lane. There are shots of the outdoor beer garden, the restaurant interior, the bar and some of the private events we've hosted. It gives you a reasonable sense of the place, though the smell of a clay oven running at full heat and the first sip of something cold on a warm Hackney evening are harder to photograph.
